11/01/11 - Site Update and new ladder location
Updated several kinship names on the main list, and have added a link on the main page for the new dynamic ladder location.
A great many thanks to Melainel of The Family for this! It works fantastic.

03/25/11 - Site Update
It seems the previous site version became corrupted due to a machine failure on my end, and this most recent site update is being rebuilt from a backup.
Eight new kinships were added to the big list, for a current total of 65. I do believe there are several on the list that have disbanded however.
With Volume 3 Book 3 of the Epic story out now, we’re looking at Ost Dunhoth for new events.
The Three Year Anniversary Celebration pictures from last fall are here on the server forums. Here is a neat shot of the simultaneous fireworks though from just outside Town Hall:
11/03/09 - Two Year Anniversary Celebration
11/03/08 - One Year Anniversary Celebration
We had our one year anniversary celebration on Nov.3, in the Prancing Pony Tavern in Bree. It was one year prior when we had a dozen kinships form a coalition in 2007. Here are some screenshots of the event. Many thanks to all who have kept this going over the past year and kept it successful. Thanks also to Controlled Burn, who played live music at the event.

09/19/08 - Upcoming Anniversary!
Oct.27 - One year anniversary of ‘Unite’ chat channel communication
Nov.3 - One year anniversary of the Vilya Alliance
09/04/08 - Upcoming Meeting
Our upcoming meeting this Saturday marks the final meeting prior to our anniversary in November. Leaders and officers are encouraged to be involved and give input.
07/06/08 - Great Turnout
We had a great turnout at the seventh meeting of the Vilya Alliance. We are now a coalition of 47 kinships, and continuing strong. Welcome newcomers! Meeting results are posted here.
06/23/08 - Upcoming Meeting
Our meetings have turned bi-monthly now that we’re pretty self sufficient in our events. We have three Rift groups running weekly, a Helegrod group forming every two weeks, and the Unite chat channel is running strong. Thanks to all the 40 kinships that have kept this Alliance what it’s intended for.
Be sure to visit the Lotro forums for the meeting agenda. Look forward to seeing you all on July 5th, 5:00pm PST at the Town Hall in Bree!
01/27/08 - Upcoming Meeting
Our monthly meeting is coming up next Sat. It will again be held in Town Hall, Bree. There 28 kinships now officially taking part in the Vilya Alliance. Please show up to continue to voice your kinship’s opinion on the VA’s direction.
01/27/08 - Rift of Nűrz Ghâshu
It Seems that the second Rift of Nűrz Ghâshu group has become successful, and there has been rumor of a third group starting as well. These second and third groups are not on a laddered loot system.
01/27/08 - Forums
The VA forums got a slight overhaul, and a few threads have been moved around. Irememberwen is moderating the Events section (sign-ups are still on the public Vilya Server forums), and Arestor is moderating the Rift Group 1 ladder section.
01/07/08 - Helegrod
The initial VA organized trip to Helegrod was a complete success last week, and will return as a bi-monthly event. Many thanks to Hyperciril of Covenant of the Sword for organizing, as well as Indecent of Conviction for leading.
There is a second group finally forming for the Rift of Nűrz Ghâshu, although we are in search of someone to take the responsibility of organizing a weekly run. Look to this forum post for more information on this.
The Jan.5 meeting was another success. We were pleased to see a few new kinships coming to join the VA there in the Bree Town Hall. We look forward to seeing you again. Also, Hypercyril (Covenant of the Sword) was nominated as official volunteer staff for his work with the Helegrod raid events. Grats Hypercyril, and thanks for the help! Next month we will meet in the Bree Town Hall again. We had to switch from the tavern because it became too crowded for a frequently used room.
01/03/08
Monthly meeting this Saturday at Bree Town Hall. Here’s a link to the agenda.
12/04/07
VilyaAlliance.com launched. The forums are up as well, although please continue to use the Vilya server forums for event information.
12/03/07 Raid Pool
During Saturday’s meeting, it was voted that a master list be created to help organize raids. Leaders/Officers of the kinships should send an in-game mail to Irememberwen of the members who are interested in putting their name into the raid pool. This list will be used not only help to decide on a reasonable date for the larger raids, but will also give us an idea of how many people are available for each. Do not send in the names of people against their will please; only those who are interested in having their character available to be included in these events. If you are interested, send your information to your leader/officers, and include the following:
Name Kinship Class Level (should be close to 50) Dates/Times available for 4-hour sessions Raid area(s) of your interest
This list will be posted on an upcoming forum available through VilyaAlliance.com, which should be up and running by Dec.10. The event sign-ups will continue to be posted on the Vilya forums as we’ve been doing however. The reason we are not using the Vilya forums for the master list is because not everyone wants their character’s name posted publicly there.
12/01/07 Official Volunteer Staff
Due to our numbers, official volunteer positions are being filled to help keep things organized.
--Magnarr (United Races) will continue to lead the Vilya Alliance coalition, host the monthly meetings and update the VilyaAlliance.com site.
--Iremeberwen (Pale Riders of the Flame) is our Rift of Nűrz Ghâshu event organizer, as well as the contact for the master list of raid participants
12/01/07 Meeting Location Change
Although the Prancing Pony tavern has served us well in Bree, we are moving the location for next month’s meeting. There is just too much traffic in that area, as well as several townspeople to speak over. Starting in January, we’ll be meeting in Town Hall at the center of Bree.
